Last One Standing is back!

We’re kicking off THIS WEEKEND, so if you fancy putting your football knowledge to the test and battling it out to be our next Last One Standing winner, now’s the time to get involved!

💰 £10 entry
💳 Payments need to be in by Thursday
⚽️ Picks need to be submitted by Friday

Once you’ve paid, please pop a quick message in the group to let us know - especially if you’re paying for multiple entries!

⚠️ Your entry isn’t confirmed until payment has been received.

No payment by the deadline = no entry into Round 1… even if you’ve already sent your team selection!

Mainly because we’d rather not have to send the heavies round chasing tenners… 😂

As the season comes to an end, we’ve had some absolutely lovely messages from our junior parents and they really sum up what junior cricket is all about for us at Sea Cop 💙

💬 “Cricket has become his favourite time of the week.”

💬 “It’s really helped his confidence.”

💬 “He absolutely loves it and is delighted to play for FH.”

💬 “You can really see the change in him as a young person and his love for the game developing.”

💬 “All the players and families have been so welcoming.”

For us, junior cricket isn’t just about learning how to bat, bowl and field.

It’s about making friends, building confidence, being part of a team and hopefully developing a love for cricket that lasts for years to come and the cricket doesn’t stop just because summer is over 🏏

Our junior winter training will be taking place indoors at KGV, with dates and further details to be confirmed soon.

If your child would like to give cricket a go, whether they’ve played before or are completely new to the game, we’d love to welcome them along 💙

The season might be over, but the work doesn’t stop at Sea Cop!

Yesterday, our cricket square has had its end-of-season renovation after a very busy summer!

The square has been scarified to remove the built-up thatch, before being seeded and top-dressed to give the new grass the best possible chance to establish 💪

It might look a little worse for wear right now… but there’s a method behind it!

All of this work helps us create stronger, healthier and more consistent pitches ready for next season...

What a season it’s been at Fleetwood Hesketh! 🏏

From double promotions to some incredible individual performances, there’s been plenty to celebrate across the club this year!

We’ve pulled together our 2026 Season in Numbers to look back at some of the highlights 👏

The results are in, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to round off the cricket season!

Three games, three wins and plenty to celebrate! 👏

And we think a few people might agree that we did a pretty good job of celebrating the end of the season last night too… 😂

What a season it’s been though!

Plenty of highs, a few challenges along the way and some incredible moments for our teams, players and everyone involved with the club.

We’ve finished on a high, but there’s still plenty of work to be done over the winter as we get ready to do it all again next year 🙈

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the season. Players, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and everyone behind the scenes… we couldn’t do it without you!

A HUGE congratulations to both our 1XI and 2XI, who have secured PROMOTION! 👏👏

It’s been a season full of highs, challenges and plenty of hard-fought cricket, playing against some incredible teams from across the region.

But these promotions show exactly what hard work, commitment and determination can achieve.

From the players out on the pitch to everyone supporting from the sidelines, it’s been a real team effort throughout the season.

The last weekend of the cricket season is here… and what a season it’s been! 🏏

We’ve had plenty of highs, a few challenges thrown in along the way, and most importantly, plenty of brilliant cricket across all of our teams!

With 3 games happening across the weekend, there’s still plenty of opportunity to get down to Sea Cop, support the teams and enjoy one last weekend of cricket before the season comes to a close!

There’s no game for our 4XI this weekend, but we couldn’t finish the season without giving them a MASSIVE shoutout 👏

As our development team, it’s been brilliant to see players getting their first taste of senior cricket, stepping up into other teams and gaining some invaluable experience along the way.

And that’s exactly what it’s all about!

Developing players, creating opportunities and helping the next generation take that next step!
