We were delighted to welcome Lucinda and Brogan from England Golf to Old Links Golf this morning to discuss the continued growth of women’s gol️‍f. ⛳🏌️‍♀️

A positive meeting as always, sharing ideas around increasing participation, attracting new members and showcasing the work already taking place at the club through our Women in Golf Charter commitments.

We’re excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to building on this moving forward!

🏆 B O’Malley Trophy 2026 – Seniors Open Results

Southport Old Links Golf Club was delighted to host another excellent B O’Malley Trophy Seniors Open Betterball Stableford on Tuesday 05 May 2026, with a full strong field enjoying competitive golf and some superb scoring throughout the day.

Congratulations to A. Seddon & A. Pickering, who claimed victory on countback after finishing tied on an excellent 43 points alongside runners-up P. Sheridan & P. Townley. In 3rd place was M.Lilley and B.Holland with a very good 42 points.

Our side events of nearest the pins were won by A. Woodthorpe on the 7th and S. Machin in 2 shots on the 11th.

A special thank you goes to all players for supporting the event and helping make it another successful day at Southport Old Links.
