🏹 Rising Arrows – Two Week Round-Up

The last two weeks have been a really positive start for our Rising Arrows, and I’ve been really impressed with the effort, attitude and progress across the group.

Rising Arrows is split into two sections, allowing our players to work towards match readiness or develop their skills through competitive match play.

🎯 Skills Focus – players work on developing their accuracy, scoring and finishing skills to get them match ready.

🏆 Match Play – players put their skills into practice through 201 matches, double finishes and best-of-2 legs, developing their scoring, finishing and match-play experience.

🎯 Skills Focus

Brian has shown some really encouraging progress over the last two weeks. His Hit the Board score increased from 7 to 16, while his Half Board score improved from 7 to 12. His Beat Your Score also jumped from 38 to 63, showing a great improvement in his scoring.

John has also made some really positive progress. His Hit the Board score increased from 5 to 13, while his Beat Your Score improved from 38 to 64. It’s great to see the hard work beginning to translate into higher scores and greater consistency.

🏆 Match Play

Our match-play players have already produced some really exciting moments over the first two weeks.

Ezra produced one of the biggest highlights, hitting a fantastic 113 high score before hitting D1 to win the leg. A brilliant example of putting the pressure on with the scoring and then being able to finish when it mattered.

Philip has shown some excellent finishing ability, hitting D2 in one match and then D3 to finish 12 in another. He also recorded a very impressive 106 high score, showing some great scoring potential across his matches.

Jayden showed his finishing potential by hitting D15 to successfully chip out 50, demonstrating some really positive checkout awareness during his match.

Junior has also been working hard on his doubles, hitting D7 in Week 1 and then D8 in Week 2. It’s great to see him becoming more confident when looking at his finishing doubles.

⭐ Special Shout-Outs

Albie deserves a huge shout-out! After missing Week 1 with a sore hand, it was fantastic to have him back in Week 2. Despite still having a poorly hand, Albie battled through and came away with two draws. He just kept plodding along, stayed in his games and, most importantly, didn’t fade when the pressure came.

We certainly missed that bright smile in Week 1, so it was brilliant to see him back with us — and what a way to return! 🥰🎯

And finally, a massive shout-out to Harley! After missing Week 1, Harley came along in Week 2 and showed some fantastic resilience by taking on his skills challenges despite having missed the first session.

He completed 3 of the 5 challenges, with some absolutely brilliant results:

🎯 Hit the Board – 32/40
🎯 Half Board – 11
🎯 Number Zone – 7

Those are some seriously impressive scores, especially considering he was completing the challenges for the first time and had missed Week 1.

Harley is hoping to finish off the remaining challenges this week, but WOW — what a performance from our young superstar! ⭐🎯

🏹 Two Weeks In…

There has already been so much to celebrate across Rising Arrows. We’ve seen big scores, improving accuracy, successful doubles, competitive matches, resilience and some brilliant attitudes.

Whether the players are working towards becoming match ready or already competing in matches, everyone is beginning to show us what they’re capable of.

And we’re only two weeks in!

Well done, Rising Arrows — keep throwing, keep learning, keep competing and most importantly, keep enjoying your darts! 🏹🎯❤️
