30 degrees?! 🥵 Even a Mad Dog knows when to find a shady spot and a cold bowl of water. 🐾

Suddenly, that breezy (and much cooler!) Southport shore feels like a distant dream. If you’re brave enough to be out hitting the pavement today, we salute you: but maybe leave the full-body dog suit in the wardrobe for this one? 🧊🐕

Stay hydrated, stay cool, and let us know: how are you surviving the heatwave? 👇

A huge congratulations to Thomas Higgins, our 2026 MAD DOG 10K Fancy Dress Champion!

⚔️🐕 A gladiator dog who fully embraced the theme and brought plenty of smiles on race day — brilliant effort!

Our fancy dress competition is always just a bit of fun, but we love seeing the creativity and spirit it brings to the event.

Well done Thomas! 🖤🐾
