🗓️ This coming Saturday (20th June) sees our second XI return to Ashday Lane, hosting Outlane Cricket Club.

🧢 The Rams will be looking to get back to winning ways after a run of three straight defeats, and captain Nik BELLENGER makes four changes ⬇️

🔀 Coming into the side are Dylan MINCHIN, Wayne CUMMINGS, leading wicket taker Gareth TATTERSALL and batsman Tom COLES. Making way are Andy Bevan, James Eastwood, Rayaan Mohammad and Suloban Sundaramoorthy- the latter through injury 🇱🇰

However, we have added a new fixture with the T20 against Little Valley being rearranged for a Tuesday evening in July.

📝 SATURDAY ROUND UP 📝

🚨 FIRSTS TIE WHILST SULOBAN TAKES SECOND TEAM HAT-TRICK 🎩

⛔️ Our first XI have gained 9 points from a tied game against Greetland CC at Ashday Lane, whilst our second XI collect just 2 points from a poor performance at Low Moor Holy Trinity Cricket Club.

Bowling first, our firsts dismissed Greetland for 201 with Tom BELFIELD taking 4/70, Ian GLEDHILL 2/37 and Danny MAHMOOD 2/54. In reply, The Rams finished on 201/8 with Dean CROSSLEY (79) and Sohail SAJJAD (68) both scoring half centuries for the second consecutive week.

Our second XI also bowled first, restricting Low Moor to 182/9 as Suloban SUNDARAMOORTHY claimed a hattrick in figures of 4/45. Nik BELLENGER took 2/15 and James EASTWOOD 2/48. Sadly the Rams were dismissed for just 87 as only Kamran SALEEM, Rehan MUHAMMED and Andy BEVAN (all 16) reached double figures.

🗓️ This coming Saturday sees our first XI back at Ashday Lane hosting Greetland CC, looking to get back on track after a run of three consecutive Halifax Cricket League defeats.

🧢 Captain Tom BELFIELD makes two changes to the side that lost at Clayton Cricket Club last weekend.

🔀 BELFIELD- with a batting average of 34 alongside 22 wickets this season- returns to lead the side, whilst teenager Sam STOBART- with two Sunday fifties so far this season- makes his first XI debut. Tom Coles and Rehan Muhammed make way.
