Southminster Tennis Club In the heart of the Dengie area with 3 floodlit courts and club house. New members always welcome. Junior coached sessions are held in the summer months.

We are a Friendly, social club in the heart of the dengie area with both social and competitive tennis available to club members all year round. New members both young and old are always welcome with adult club sessions on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Wednesday and Sunday mornings. Competitive teams for Mens, Womens and Mixed doubles play in the Chelmsford and District League with teams also put out into the Stock Winter League.

🎾Group sessions are for all standards so even if you have not played before you are welcome to come along and try tennis.
All sessions involve drills, fun games and points play🎾

🎾Thursday at 4.15-5pm is a new group set up for children who have not played before or with very little experience.🎾

🎾Rackets are provided if you need one🎾

Looking for a fun, friendly way to stay active this summer? Whether you’re completely new to tennis or thinking about getting back on court, we’ve got something for everyone.

🎾 Introduction to Tennis Sessions

Join us every Saturday for our relaxed and welcoming tennis sessions.

✅ Just £2 per session
📍 Saturdays from 2pm–3pm (ages 5–12)
📍 Saturdays from 3pm–4pm (ages 12+ & adults)
🎾 All ages and abilities welcome

☀️ Summer Special Membership

Our summer membership is a fantastic way to enjoy tennis throughout June, July and August.

✅ Court hire included

✅ Only £35 per adult
✅ One child goes free with each paying adult (£5 per additional child)
