A huge thank you to Ashley from our Wednesday Conservation Group at Garon Park! 😀

Since joining us in March, Ashley has made a fantastic contribution to our wellbeing and conservation activities. He has been a tremendous help with our surveying efforts, consistently bringing enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to get involved.

Nature is flourishing at Wellbeing Garon Park. 🌿

Our green spaces are carefully maintained by our dedicated staff and volunteers, helping to create a beautiful environment for wildlife and the whole community to enjoy. Our Wellbeing Orchard is thriving 🌳🌳🌳

With a wonderful mix of apple, pear and plum varieties, the trees are laden with healthy fruit and growing beautifully. It’s fantastic to see the orchard flourishing and providing a space where nature, wellbeing and community can grow together. 🍎🍏🍐

A huge thank you to our fantastic conservation volunteer, Laura! 🪴

For the best part of a year, Laura has been joining us every Friday, lending a hand in the garden and helping to keep our green spaces thriving. More recently, she’s also started volunteering on Wednesdays, getting involved with conservation projects and supporting work on our information boards and Plastic Free July activities.

We’re incredibly grateful for Laura’s enthusiasm, dedication, and willingness to get stuck in wherever help is needed. Volunteers like Laura make such a difference, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the team.

Join us next month for Plastic Free July®

The shared global movement helping to reduce single- use plastic waste through making simple, everyday swaps and mindful decisions.

Take the pledge by choosing one plastic item to refuse in July (and hopefully forever) to become the solution to plastic pollution.

Through changing our single-use plastics to sustainable alternatives, we can form positive new habits that can help save the planet.

We want cleaner streets 🌳,Plastic- free oceans 🌊,
And environmentally conscious communities🤝

What will you pledge to refuse? Plastic bottles? Plastic bags?

Keep updated with our social media accounts to find out what pledges we are making. As well as, information about plastic waste, events we are hosting and great alternatives you can make.

A Yoga and Wellness Festival is coming to Garon Park!

Yoga4all are back again this year for their annual festival 🎉

Including Yoga classes , Soundbaths, Workshops and family friendly activities.

Plus a Marketplace and Food stalls .

When: 12th July 10.30-5pm
Where: Garon Park, Southend
Cost : Tickets £10, Children Free.

All profits will go towards Yoga4all’s outreach work .
