WHAT A SEASON!

What a way to finish our EYAL season!

After a hard-fought final, SS Athletics finish 3rd overall and we’re incredibly proud to also take home the U14 Boys Champion Title! 🏆

A huge congratulations to every athlete who competed today and throughout the season. Whether you were chasing points, stepping into an event at the last minute, filling a gap for the team or simply giving everything you had, you all played your part.

And that’s what makes this club so special. ❤️💙
Athletes supporting athletes. Stepping up when needed. Celebrating each other’s successes. Teamwork from start to finish.

A big thank you to the coaches, officials, volunteers and, of course, our amazing parents for everything you do behind the scenes to make days like today possible.

FINALS DAY 🔥

After four rounds of the 2026 Eastern Young Athletes League, it all comes down to today.

We head into the Finals at Chelmsford Town Ground with 27,339.5 points on the board, with Chelmsford currently leading on 28,458 points.

That’s a 1,118.5-point gap, but today is a new day, and every single point counts.

Four rounds have brought us here. Hundreds of athletes have pulled on the vest, competed, supported each other and contributed to that total.

Now it’s time for one final push.

Run hard. Jump far. Throw far. Fight for every point.

Our Summer Camps are packed with athletics-based games, skill development, challenges, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. Whether your child is already involved in athletics or simply loves being active, our camps are designed to be enjoyable, inclusive, and full of energy.

Cross Country
Eastwood Sports Aptitude Test

These specialist sessions give young athletes the opportunity to learn from expert coaches, develop their technique, and take their performance.

Essex Relay Championships 2026

What a day for SS Athletics!

Our athletes showed incredible teamwork, determination and club spirit across the track, with an amazing 21 relay teams competing and 11 teams reaching the 4×100 finals.

From explosive sprint relays to gutsy middle-distance performances, every athlete gave everything for their team. Relay racing is all about trust, teamwork and delivering for each other – and that’s exactly what our athletes did.

A huge congratulations to every runner, our coaches, officials, volunteers and the families cheering from the sidelines. We’re incredibly proud of every single one of you.
