This project belongs to all of us. The more people who attend, the stronger our club will be as we take the next exciting step forward.

🚨 Can Southend HC unlock £500 for the New Pitch Fund? 🚨

We are delighted to share that club members Martin Allen and Peter Woodman (Chair) have made incredible offers to help kick-start our fundraising efforts!

🔵 Martin has kindly offered, for every person who attends our Open Evening, Martin will donate £5 to the New Pitch Fund, up to a fantastic total of £500.

🔵 Peter has also kindly offered a £1 donation for every person attending wearing a piece of SHC clothing bearing our logo – this could add another £100 to the fundraising pot.

That means if we can get 100 players, parents, family members and supporters through the door, we’ll unlock the full £600! ⬅️

💙 EVERYBODY WELCOME …. Bring your teammates, family and friends and let’s see if we can hit that target together!

SUMMER LEAGUE ☀️

🟠 WEEK 7

🔵 Summer teams Ladies 1s and Mens 2s were all in action this week.

⚪️ Great result from the Ladies 1s match -
No goalie and 11 on pitch = amazing 🔥 game! 💪 Well Done L1s.

🔵 Southend HC are taking part in a number of summer leagues: Chelmsford, Maldon & Brentwood.

SUMMER LEAGUE ☀️

🟠 WEEK 6

🔵 Summer teams Men’s 1s, Men’s 2s and Ladies 2s were all in action this week.

⚪️ Good results for Men’s 2s and Ladies 2s - both came home with hard fought out draws!

🔵 Captain Russell’s breakdown of Men’s 2s match:

Weather added some atmosphere to the evening with distant lightning strikes ⚡️⛈️🌩️, 4 x father sons pitch side, famous half time oranges helped🍊, add in a penalty-flick taken by youth player Greg Hallett 🏑, Billy’s goal 🥳, plenty of chances, a couple of great saves!! Makes for an eventful game 💪
