League Two grounds for 2026/27

First came to Sheffield FC back in 2009 and loved the visit so much that, despite living in Southend, I tried coming back for a game on 2 separate occasions. Both games were called off hours before kick off when i was already in Sheffield 🙄

Today, I finally got here!

Good to see the progress at Roots Hall continuing over the summer. Kevin Maher leaving was a shock to a lot of people but since Kieran Dyer’s arrival as the new manager, they’ve signed a fair few players and the whole place feels fresh and ready for the new season. I don’t see them troubling the automatic spot, but play offs are always a possibility with the set up and the fan base.

The introduction of the Only Blue membership scheme is an interesting one and has already generated a fair chunk of extra money for the club. I expect others to follow suit with similar schemes.

A club to watch this season.
