Busy Tuesday evening, afloat at SWAC. Doug has been coaching 3 Advanced Power Instructor candidates all day and they are out for a night navigation exercise. Andy is also out , with the Yachtmaster Power candidates and John, Alp, Kai and Alex have been teaching dinghy sailing this evening to a local Girl Guides group. Thank you Tricia for the dinghy images. SWAC is back!

The team have been flat out since 5 January getting the centre ready for this season.

May half term was our first proper week of school holiday five-day courses, and it was great to see everything come together after so much hard work behind the scenes.

Thank you, Mandy, for your lovely feedback below. It makes all the effort worthwhile and means a great deal to everyone involved. We look forward to sailing with your family again this summer.

At SWAC, we believe watersports should be accessible to everybody. 🌊⛵

This video features one of our Sailability sailors sharing how being part of the programme has benefited them; from building confidence and developing skills to simply enjoying time on the water in a supportive and social environment.

Our developing Sailability programme provides inclusive sailing opportunities for disabled participants and those requiring additional assistance.

SWAC Sailability sessions run every Wednesday evening from 17:30 - 19:30 throughout the season, and we’re always excited to welcome new sailors along.

We’re also currently looking for volunteers to help support our sessions. We are looking for Dinghy Instructors, Safety Boat Drivers, and experienced sailors to help rig boats and get our sailors out on the water.
