πŸ›Ή WE’RE HIRING! πŸ›Ή

We’re looking for another Skateboard Coach to join the team and help with term-time sessions, school workshops, after-school clubs and school holiday sessions.

We’re looking for someone who is:

* An experienced and confident skater
* Great with children and young people
* Reliable, friendly and enthusiastic
* Happy to work a mixture of term-time and holiday sessions

You don’t need to already be a qualified coach. For the right person, we can arrange and fund the Skateboard GB coaching course.

As the role involves working with children and young people, an enhanced DBS check will be required.

Pop & Push is 1 πŸ›ΉπŸŽˆ

A year ago today we held our first open morning and were inundated with people wanting to give skateboarding a go.

Since then we’ve had sell-out sessions, added more classes, started after-school clubs and run workshops.

We’ve also learnt how inclusive skateboarding can be, especially for neurodiverse children and adults, and that’s become a big part of what Pop & Push is about.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us over the last year πŸ–€

One of our goals was always to make skateboarding more accessible to children by bringing it into schools πŸ›Ή

We launched this particular after-school club in January, and seeing that Toby chose starting his skateboarding journey as one of his highlights of NBJS made us realise what an impact a weekly club can have. He even put the Pop & Push logo on his leavers bear too! 🧸 A big thank you to his mum for sharing these photos with us πŸ’š

Our after-school club is back in September and we have just 3 places remaining.
