Behind the moments you see on stage are hours of practice — building strength, flexibility, technique, control and confidence little by little.

That's one of the things we love most about teaching: watching something that once felt impossible gradually become possible. 💕

Every dancer progresses at their own pace, and every little improvement deserves celebrating.

Dance may sometimes mean stepping onto the stage by yourself, but behind every performance is a whole team of friends, teachers and families supporting you. ✨

We couldn't be prouder of our young dancers for getting up on stage and performing.
For our youngest pupils, dance is about so much more than perfect steps. They're learning to listen, perform independently, build confidence and — most importantly — enjoy dancing.
Every time they step onto a stage is a little victory in itself. 🥰

Our Gymnastic Dance classes combine dance technique with acrobatic skills, helping dancers develop confidence in everything from balances and bridges to more advanced tricks.

We’re so excited to share that Pickup Dance Southampton has been named Best Ballet School in Southampton 2026 by the Quality Business Awards! ✨

PDS received an overall quality rating of 95%+, and we couldn’t be prouder.

What started back in 2014 with just one ballet class a week has grown into the amazing dance school we have today — and none of it would be possible without our wonderful dancers and families. 💕

A huge thank you to everyone who chooses PDS, recommends us, leaves us lovely reviews and continues to support the school. And, of course, to our brilliant teaching team for everything they put into our dancers each week.
