The Southern Vipers, managed by Hampshire Cricket, with partners, are one of the six host that will compete in the inaugural Womenโs Cricket Super League. This summer will see the Ageas Bowl based Southern Vipers compete against five other teams (Lancashire Thunder, Loughborough Lightning, Surrey Stars, Western Storm, and Yorkshire Diamonds)
The round-robin Twenty20 competition will be played fro
m Saturday 30th July to Sunday 14th August. The tournament will feature 15 group matches in 16 days and climax with a finals day on Sunday 21st August. Led by Head Coach Nick Denning, the Vipers welcome the Surrey Stars to the home of Hampshire Cricket for their opening match on Sunday 31st July. The Vipers will then make the trip to Blackpool to face the Thunder on Friday 5 August before a home game against the Diamonds on Monday 8 August. The penultimate fixture of the group campaign is an away match against the Storm on Friday 12 August before facing the Lightning on Sunday 14 August
