Over the Summer Holidays our coaches revert to referees, competition organisers and court supervisors for a host of tennis tournaments across Hampshire and Wiltshire.

Sunday 26th July - 1st August we are at CourtX , Southsea for the following events:

8u Singles
9u Singles and Doubles
10u Singles and Doubles
11u Singles and Doubles
12u Singles
14u Singles and Doubles
16u Singles
18u Singles and Doubles
Men and Ladies Singles/Doubles/Mixed Doubles
Mens and Ladies Singles 35+

This is a great opportunity to play a grass court event right by the seaside.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES WITH ACTIVE ACADEMY TENNIS

Our final day of group coaching will be Saturday July 18th and we then switch to our referee roles for weeklong tennis events across Hampshire and Wiltshire.

We are offering 6 days of tennis opportunities:

Monday 27th July and Monday 24th August we will be tennis camps
Open for all ages (5 years+) from 9.30am - 2.30pm - £30 for members and £35 for non members.
Spaces are limited so book now to avoid disappointment. Space will be confirmed on receipt of payment.

Wednesday 29th July and 26th August will be 1:1 days.
A chance to get some individual attention and to focus on some technical areas - Available from 10am for all juniors and adults - £35 per hour.
Slots are limited so book early with confirmation on receipt of payment.

Friday 31st July and 28th August will be matchplay days. Morning will be mini orange and green ball players. Afternoon will be all players with a WTN between 31.9 and 40.9. A glimpse into competitive tennis matches in a fun and relaxed environment.

With the World Cup approaching, many people across our communities are looking forward to the tournament and will be hosting events, gatherings and celebrations. It is a great opportunity to bring people together and strengthen community spirit.

However, we also know that major sporting events can unfortunately coincide with an increase in domestic abuse reports. To help ensure that anyone affected knows where to find support, Hampshire County Council has launched a county‑wide awareness campaign for the duration of the World Cup.

We were absolutely delighted to see some of our juniors taking the first step into competition at the South and South West 8u/9u Tour event at Bishop's Waltham

To Hudson, Reuben and Saul - wow! so proud of you all and well done in all your matches.

A big congratulations to our juniors Ben and Luke who both came away with golds and a new Waterdrop water bottle.

A golden week for two of our juniors!🥇🎾

Congratulations to Luke who won the G5 8u event hosted at Bishop's Waltham (10th May) and to Harry who won the G4 9u event at Portsmouth Grammar School yesterday.

Well done to both of you and keep up the hard work as it is certainly paying off.

Our experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer, Chris, offers tailored weekly junior sessions focused on balanced bodyweight exercises. Enrolling your player into our strength and conditioning program can significantly enhance their tennis abilities, reduce injury and ensure a healthy lifestyle.

Ideal for players from green ball level and above.
