Jojo's Health and Fitness We pride ourselves on being the friendliest gym in Southampton! JoJo's is the largest independent health club in Southampton.

Located just off The Avenue, Southampton, we are a short walking distance from the City Centre, Polygon, Portswood, and other surrounding areas. This makes us ideal for both students, City Centre workers, commuters and residents from all around Southampton. Don't worry if you've never exercised before, we are very friendly and sociable with members ranging from 18 to 80 in age! We have many beginners here and you'll be comfortable so just come along and have a look around. JoJo's has one of the largest collection of CV machines in the whole of Southampton. The relaxed and spacious atmosphere allow you to workout in peace. The massive CV area is fitted out with satellite TV and JoJo's staff are always close at hand if you need help or assistance with equipment or training advice.

Hi Everyone. As you all know I had to close down Jojo's Health and Fitness due to the impact of Covid19. My son has decided that he is going to take over the gym under his own private limited company called Reach. Please spread the word to as many people as possible that the gym will be opening tomorrow Friday 4th December. Can I also once again thank all my previous members for the love and support you have shown for the gym. Please carry on supporting my Son in his new venture as he will be one of the last independent gyms available to the public. The budget gyms as you know started of with low prices to squeeze most if the independent gyms out of the market and as most if you know they put up the prices once they had squeezed out most of the competition. Please support Reach Gym as you all know it is a community gym with a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere and one of the last few gyms with a wet area in it. Thanks again for supporting me and the community for the last 10 years. Please show my son the same support

Hi Everyone. Hope you are all keeping safe. Whilst the weather is good I was thinking of doing a few outdoor classes. I won't be charging ex Jojo's members for the first month. The classes i was thinking of doing was outdoor boxercise or outdoor HIIT classes. Important Notice to All Our Members.
As you are all aware under Government instructions due to the Corona virus Pandemic all Leisure centres were told to close their doors at the tail end of March 2020. We have now been closed for the last four months and as a result of no membership income our debts have built up and we are no longer in a position to carry on trading.
Therefore it is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we have decided to shut the business down after 10 years of trading. We cannot thank all our members enough for all the happiness and pleasure we have had serving you. We have not taken this decision lightly and if there was another way to carry on trading we would have followed that route.We are truly sorry at having to close down after all these years and we will miss you all so much.

Hi this a message to all of you who volunteered to help our over 70's . Just to let you know that i have just finished contacting all our over 70s at the gym regarding shopping and help at this time. Dear Members,
Following today's announcement by the prime minister we feel it prudent to cancel all studio classes only until the virus situation is resolved. If you have a full gym membership you can carry on using the gym and pool until we are advised differently either by the central government or local government. Once things get back to normal any days you have lost on a studio membership will be added back onto your membership.
Please take all necessary precautions regarding the virus such as washing you hands for 30 seconds before coming to and when leaving the gym.
Whilst in the gym please keep in mind that social distancing is advisable i.e. keep at least 2 metres away from other members.
