Round About Café A community café serving delicious, affordable food and drinks with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Visit us and become a member of our Community Pantry to help reduce food waste and save money. Round About Café is a community facility for the people of Mansbridge. You can drop in for a cappuccino, a sandwich or some lovely cake! You can use the laptops and free WiFi or just come and relax with a book. We also provide training opportunities as well as community activities - have a look at our 'W

hat's on' page on our website to what we've got planned! We are always looking for volunteers so if you can spare a few hours a week or month, get in contact!

📝Quiz Night at Round About Café📝

As part of Southampton Mental Health Friendly Day join us for a relaxed and friendly evening quiz focused on connection, conversation and a bit of fun.
Wednesday 8 July, 6.30pm

This is not your typical competitive quiz night. It is all about getting to know other people, having a laugh and enjoying time together in a welcoming space.

£1 per person (cash)

Teams of up to four, or come along on your own and we will match you with a team.
The winning team will take home the prize pot, with other small prizes for second and third place.

Whether you are a quiz expert or just fancy a chat and a cuppa, everyone is welcome.

Snacks and drinks provided. This is an no alcohol event.

Come along to support Nigel and our brilliant volunteers, and treat yourself to some homemade cake and sausage rolls.

Explore over 50 independent traders offering everything from artisan crafts to tasty street food and refreshing drinks. There’s plenty for everyone, including children’s activities, workshops, and creative experiences like dance, art and circus-style entertainment.

Proudly organised by local traders and supported by the community.

Here's a taste of what we have available at the Community Pantry this week*

Some highlights this week vegetables, fruit, cheese, bacon and vegan burgers.

If you'd like to join the pantry, pop in and see a member of staff. Anyone with an SO postcode can join for £1 per year, members can shop once a week and choose up to 10 items for £3.50 or up to 15 items for £5.

😊We’re opening up Round About Café as a friendly, health-boosting shared space as a friendly, health-boosting shared space for local residents 😊

We’ll be welcoming a range of organisations to chat, offer advice and support around things like cost of living, wellbeing, employment and more.

We’re running these sessions to make it easier for people to access support in a relaxed, familiar setting, helping connect residents with local services without the need for appointments or formal events.

It’s all informal, just pop in, have a chat and see what’s available.

Get advice on saving energy and reducing bills with personalised support for your home.

29 June- Family Hubs
Find out about local support for families including play sessions, parenting advice and wellbeing support.

6 July- Southampton Primary Care – Health Checks
Free mini health checks including blood pressure, pulse, blood glucose, height and weight.

13 July- Healthwatch Southampton
Independent advice and support around health and social care services, plus a chance to share your experiences.

20 July- WEA (Adult Learning)
Explore low-cost or free courses including work skills, life skills, arts, languages and more.

3 August- Social Prescriber
Connect with community activities and support to improve your wellbeing.

17 August- Southampton Primary Care – Health Checks
Pop in for another opportunity to get a free health check.

14 September- The Environment Centre
Back again with expert advice on saving energy and money.
