Welcome to Waterside Tennis Club! We welcome everyone to our club: those of all ages who just enjoy playing tennis, those who would like to improve their game, and those who would like to play competitively. Our current ‘club’ sessions are on Monday and Fridays at 6pm, Sunday mornings from 10 am and Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 1:30 pm. Balls are provided on club sessions. We have 4 all weat

her courts and floodlights which allow us play tennis for 12 months of the year, outdoors! Members can play on the courts at any other time using your own balls. Under 16s need to have their parent/guardian present to open the clubhouse & courts. For coaching, there are two LTA accredited coaches who run sessions at the Club. Tim Cook provides adult coaching sessions for individuals and pairs on Thursday mornings and

Wendy Burnston runs group coaching sessions on Mondays (improvers 4pm, intermediate 6pm), and on Wednesday evenings (beginners and improvers). She can also provide individual and pairs coaching; for all of these, please contact Wendy - [email protected]

Tim and Wendy run junior sessions on Saturday mornings for 5-8, 8-11 and 11-16 years olds,
with additional sessions during school holidays; please contact Tim for details. Wendy runs a

Pauline Eyre, a comedian and former Wimbledon line judge who is touring her show, Anyone For Tennis, across the UK throughout 2026. She's coming to The Attic, Southampton on Thursday 22nd October. There’s more information below.

We'd love to have as many tennis players and fans in the audience a possible. The show is a memoir of Pauline's umpiring career, as well as a love letter to the game. (Tickets are available here:

Well done to our Ladies Vets Team who came joint first with Warsash Ladies Vets last night. They all enjoyed the game and the lovely food after. Did not enjoy the mosquitoes quite so much!!
