Into day 2 of the Drheam Cup and as expected it's been pretty tricky. The wind is very unstable so there always something to do, trimming the sails, moving the weight around the boat and changing between the code 0 and the jib. There is a big split in the fleet so it's difficult to be sure how we will be doing when we converge. For now the priortiy is staying in front of the guys around me - commplicated as we are rarely sailing in the same wind - and time will tell if we've come the right way. Otherwise its hot and sunny with lots of dolphins. A apert from not a lot of sleep the boat and myself are on good form.
Comme prévu ça a été délicat.
L’instabilité du vent m’oblige à être toujours en action : rabattre les voiles... il y a une grosse fissure dans la flotte, c'est difficile de savoir comment ça va évoluer quand on va tous se rejoindre. L’important pour le moment c’est de rester devant les autres, même si c'est compliqué. Nous naviguons avec le même vent, difficile de savoir si nous suivons la bonne direction. Enfin, il fait chaud, il y a du soleil et des dauphins ! Et même si nous ne dormons pas beaucoup le bateau et moi tenons la forme !
