We are hosting a cricket match between Southampton Hospitals and Portsmouth Hospitals, Tuesday 16th June - some fantastic raffle prizes up for grabs including a coaching session with Hampshire and England Lions star Ben Mayes!! 6pm onwards, plenty of food and drink available, sun set to shine as well - will be a perfect evening at The Ridge! Here we go again! The Smash season 2, we can’t wait to take part in this tournament again, hoping to defend our title again! Do come along and support, senior matches start at 1.30pm - come on the Ridge!!

Locks Heath Cricket Club, Sarisbury Athletic CC, Burridge Cricket Club, Bishop’s Waltham Cricket Club present…. The Smash ‼️

An annual tournament, held every year on the Bank Holiday Monday at the end of May. Last year being the first, was a total success, bringing together the 4 clubs in a shorter format of the game in both senior cricket and women’s softball. The tournament is a collective effort and changes host club each year, raising money for chosen charities with a day of fast paced cricket that promises to be a great day for everyone involved! Motiv8 Gosport, Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation.

🏏 Women’s Softball
-50 balls a side
- x5 batting pairs (10 balls a pair)
- 10 balls max per bowler
- Squad of 15 max

🏏 Seniors
- 50 balls a side
-10 balls max per bowler
- Squads of 15 max
- Roll on, Roll off fielding substitutes
- 2 power plays (1-10 and another 5 ball batting power play of the captains choosing)
- Open to players who on HCL divisions 4-6 only
- Each side must have at lesser 2 junior players in squad.

We honestly can’t wait to host this event, have a brilliant time together, and raise as much money as possible for our chosen charities.
