Hi guys

Long time no speak - I hope you are doing well and keeping safe.

I’m really starting to miss SCB classes and workshops, like A LOT. I’m not gonna lie… I think 2023 was one of the worst years of my life. But I have high hopes for this year, and I think I’m gonna be okay. I’m starting to feel like myself a bit more, even though it will take some time to work through this grief.

One great thing that did come from 2023 was starting my role as a Peer Support Specialist within a mental health crisis team. A role where each shift I could support people who needed someone to help and listen to them. It can definitely be challenging but it’s so fulfilling knowing that you helped someone. Honestly I think this was one of the things that saved me last year along with my nearest and dearest and support from mental health services.

Sooo to the point… I thought I’d let you know that I’m planning to return in second half of 2024. I miss seeing all my lovely students and I can’t wait to welcome you all back to class. Any new faces that would like to come and join us are very welcome - we are a friendly bunch I promise!

Hi everyone I hope you’re doing well.

As you know I was planning to start my classes around March time. Unfortunately I’ve just lost my dad a couple weeks ago. Few months before that I lost my grandma.

What can I say, it’s just numb.

With Bhangra, I’m not going to be able to put a start date out there at this stage. I hope you guys can understand.

I hope you can keep following my Bhangra pages as I know I want to get my classes running again one day - my dad was always proud of me for starting a successful business in my early 20s. I want to keep making him proud.
