Picture shows most of the Knightwood Team who took part in the Bobby Moore charity tournament on Saturday 21st September. Missing from the photo is Steve Bridge and guesting in his place is Paul Read (who went on loan to Fleet of Foot for the 60+ tournament). Thanks to Clyde Ward, Bob Taylor, Tony Francis, Pete Childs, Steve Bridge, Roy Hazelgrove, Paul Foley and Darren Holbrook for giving up their Saturday for this worthy charity.

The team did very well in the 50-60s tournament drawing their games with Eastleigh and PITC 0-0 and with a 2-0 win over Gosport (Paul Foley and Roy Hazelgrove scoring). Unfortunately, they lost the 1st place play of with PITC 1-0 and so came a very creditable 2nd.

Well done lads.

Knightwood Park, winners of the over 60s group at the Mayor of Bournemouth's charity event today (25th March 2019). Five 1-0 victories, as Dave Blake says you win tournaments by not letting in goals. Well done lads.
