Good afternoon all,

A few people wished to make a donation for Ronnie when he was sadly taken too early. We are getting a bench in his honour which will be “opened” on 10th Jan, which is Ronnie’s 18th.

Appreciate the time of year but if you can give anything.

We will host a jog / travel (so you can walk, bike, scooter) around Lordshill Rec on 20th Dec 9am start and 27th Dec we are having a Christmas gathering & will do raffle, scratch cards at Brass Monkey in Shirley 2pm

🐝🟡⚫️Further improvements The “Hire-It (Tools & Equipment) Hive, Community Hub. We are looking for new flooring if anyone knows of deal.

We also want to give our cafe a name. Please comment or message your suggestions by Friday 7th November.

🐝🟡⚫️Bringing 2 clubs with great traditions together is hard work. We want to bring more than football to the local community. A place people can come, bee welcomed and feel part of something. We want to create legacy for future generations. Making our home The “Hire-It (Tools & Equipment)” Hive, community hub is a huge part of this. We want it to be somewhere people are proud of.

The hard work has began but there is so much more we can do and there is loads of potential.

1 person does a 12 hour day, they are tired and do not look forward to the next day, 12 people do 1 hour, everyone has a good time & looks forward to tomorrow. ⚫️🟡🐝

Nursling & Shirley FC have made the very difficult decision to withdraw its women’s first team from the Southern Region league.

This was not an easy decision to make. The club committee feel that in order to maintain the integrity of our club and the league we are left with no other option.

We would like to thank the coaches Vinny & Sarah for all their hard work, time and effort over the years. They achieved amazing things, reaching the Southern Region and winning the league cup. Vinny and Sarah have incredible passion for football & the club wish them every success in what ever they do next in the adult game. Their commitment to women’s football deserves success.

Nursling & Shirley FC remain committed to women’s football. This is very much a large part of our club strategy to be a welcoming community club for all. We are working on our plans for both youth and adult section.

We would like to thank all the players for their commit & efforts this season. We hope to retain them in our Hampshire Division 3 team and they will stay with us for a very long time.

We would also like to thank the Southern Region League for their cooperation & support. The league is going from strength to strength and we hope to one day return.🟡⚫️🐝

This Sunday we entertain Leatherhead Women’s FC in the First Qualifying round of the WFA Cup.

The Bees are hoping to bounce back after an opening day defeat at the hands of Andover New Street.
