Boxer of the Month Molly Willmer
Now we’ve chosen Molly this month not because of how many fights she’s won or her skill set , although it’s coming slowly but surely.
We have chosen Molly as she is a prime example of how boxing can change somebody’s life.
Molly came to us shy and unsure of herself after suffering a lot of family issues, being bullied at school so much so the Drs decided to medicate her, Molly would not leave the house her mum Jayne Mac was in despair quite literally the both of them sucidal, imagine as a parent feeling you cannot help your child. We won’t go into detail as this is personal to the family, Jayne did her best and decided maybe a sport may help……BOXING.
Now the good part, Molly has become a confident, cheeky teenager, her words ‘I’ve found my people’ this is what it’s all about. Changing lives for the better not just creating champions for the future but to better somebody’s life for the future, giving them confidence and to feel part of a team/family.
Jayne stated that not only had we saved Mollys life but also hers 🥹
