aching in dance, music and drama and, in doing so, aim for each and every student to come away from their time in the studio INSPIRED and DRIVEN. Roynon have been established for almost 40 years now, meaning that we have taught generations within our community in a range of genres and styles. For dance specifically, this includes Tap, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Acro, Commercial and Hip-Hop, as well as new, popular classes for toddlers (Mimbies) and Boys class. The drama and music faculties have grown in recent years and now include instrumental tuition, professional vocal training, Musical Theatre, recording techniques, stage direction, script writing and much, much more. We follow recognised syllabus including ISTD, Acrobatic Arts, Progressing Ballet Technique, Trinity and Rock School. Roynon Performing Arts genuinely CARE about each and every student. RPA strive to make every learning experience meaningful and contribute towards the learning journey of a student. We have a DEDICATED, QUALIFIED and EXPERIENCED teaching team and are also extremely proud to have built a bank of INDUSTRY CONTACTS who regularly come to our school and guest teach for workshops and other special events. Our students are also given unique performance opportunities at local events, private functions and even a-list celebrity events. This is why our students not only make quality progression of arts skills but make fantastic, fond MEMORIES and FRIENDSHIPS along the way. Join us for our Halloween Dance Day this October! Get ready for a fabulous day filled with dancing, spooky fun, games and plenty of Halloween magic!

We’ll also be bringing some Michael Jackson-inspired moves into the day, so get ready to dance, have fun and maybe even learn your very own Thriller moves!

And the best part… this dance day is open to EVERYONE! You don’t need to be a student with us to join in. Whether you already dance with us or you’re completely new, we’d love for you to come along and enjoy a fabulous day of dancing! 🧡

From discussing our plans and goals to working through everything behind the scenes, it was a really productive afternoon and the perfect opportunity for our team to come together before the new year gets fully underway!

TAPATHON 2026!

We are SO excited to be taking part in Tapathon 2026 on Sunday 15th November! 🩵

We absolutely love getting involved in this amazing event, and it’s definitely become a highlight in the calendar for our tap students!

Tapathon is a nationwide tap dancing event taking place across the UK, bringing tap dancers together to perform a fantastic routine, have lots of fun and raise money for BBC Children in Need.

This event is open to everyone from Grade 1 all the way up to our wonderful adults! We absolutely love that this event is open to all of our tap students and brings everyone together to celebrate our love for tap!

🩵 WEEK 1 ROUNDUP AT ROYNON! 🩵

We’ve officially been back in the studio for one week and what a week it’s been! The energy and vibe in the studio has just been absolutely amazing, and everyone has worked so hard!

We’ve been working on our syllabus work, continued developing our technique, prepared for the new festival and performance season, began our official Disney preparations, kicked off Tapathon and so much more!

It’s been so lovely having everyone back in the studio, seeing familiar faces, welcoming new dancers and getting stuck into everything we have coming up.

There is SO much to look forward to this year and we genuinely cannot wait! ✨

We’re already so proud of how everyone has started the new term, here’s to week 2! 🩵

🩵 FIVE YEARS OF MISS APRIL 🩵

5 years ago today, this lovely lady joined Team Roynon… and I honestly don’t know where those five years have gone! 🥹

Miss April is one of those people who just gets Roynon. She brings so much energy, fun, creativity and, most importantly, heart to everything she does.

She cares SO much about her dancers, always wants the best for them and somehow manages to bring her own little bit of magic into every class. ✨

And of course, after 5 years, there have been A LOT of laughs, chaos, shows, rehearsals, random conversations and probably far too many voice notes between us! 😂

Thank you for everything you do, for all the children you’ve inspired and for being you.🩵

We are SO excited to be officially back in the studios and ready for another year of dancing!

From our tiniest dancers taking their very first steps, through to our senior classes and wonderful adult community, there really is something for everyone! 🩵

We’re incredibly proud to offer such a wide variety of classes for our students, creating opportunities for everyone to learn, grow, have fun and, most importantly, enjoy their love of dance!

Whether you’re joining us for the very first time or returning for another year, we can’t wait to welcome you back into the studio!
