Important information for this week;

Training as usual Tuesday and Thursday just this week, as people are travelling to the competition at the weekend, we are asking that everyone completes a lateral flow or saliva test before training.

We have our movie night on Friday night. Arrive at 7pm then we will be ordering pizza and watching a film - no pressure to stay late :)

Bristol competitors remember to do a lateral flow for the competition and get your "under the sea" costumes ready! We will be sorting lifts to the competition out soon.

Fri 5th Nov- Chill film night before the Bristol comp. Everyone invited! (location and time will be published nearer the time)

Fri 12th Nov- House Party! THEME: Heroes and Villains (location and time will be published nearer the time)

Hey guys! We've got loads of useful information here for you, like training & purchasing membership.

2-Weeks Free Membership
We are letting people train for 2 weeks without having to purchase membership, meaning you can come along to training for free until 18th Oct.
This means, if you are unsure whether you want to join the club, you can come along and see a bit more training that we do.

First Training Sessions
Our first training session for new members is going to be on Thursday 7th October 8-9pm in Jubilee Pool. An explanation on how to book onto training sessions is explained a bit further down. We will keep you updated on the following training sessions. It's really important to join our Facebook group as all updates will be put on there.

Freshers Social
Friday 8th October, 8pm, Stags
Theme: Dress as a lifeguard
We will be having a few chill drinks in stags so everyone can meet and make some new friends. We will then head into Portswood. Make sure to dress up in your red and yellow (if you don't have anything, just come along anyway!)

Booking onto training
To be let into the pool, you will have to book. There a few steps to get there:
1. Get a FREE Sports & Wellbeing Sports Pass or Sports & Wellbeing membership: https://www.southampton.ac.uk/sportandwellbeing/membership/student-membership.pageDownload
2. Download and login into the ‘UoS Sport’ app
2. In ‘AU Bookings’, find Lifesaving and book onto each training session
Any problems with booking the pool sessions, it’s best if you contact S&W by calling them or going into reception.
