It's a fair question. There's a lot of noise around newer treatments, and people who've been dealing with persistent tendon pain for months are rightly sceptical of anything that sounds too good to be true.

Here's the honest answer: shockwave therapy is not a miracle cure. But for the right person, with the right condition, the evidence does support it.

It's most effective for chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow, and calcific shoulder tendinopathy — particularly when symptoms have persisted for several months despite rest and rehab.
