A mixed bag day of eventing.
We started day on a 30.5 DR. It was a brilliant test from her to lead the section going into the SJ. On the whole the SJ was good, jumping beautifully, but unfortunately took a disliking to a pink oxer. The XC was good but unfortunately had a stop at the corner but seeing as we had an incident resulting in me being sat on top of a corner out XC schooling last week I think this had dropped her confidence. Natty’s confidence is something we are continually working on, and she has improved so much recently that I know we are on the right tracks. Yes, not a brilliant result today but pleased with her all the same. ❤️

We had a fab time at Swalcliffe 100cm training event today. A 33 dressage which is good considering Natty decided the judges car was awfully scary and this couldn’t go anywhere near it 🤦‍♀️ Super SJ, really feeling like we are starting to get a stronger partnership now. Just rolled one when I got her too close.
XC a super round jumping most of the 100 fences, including a skinny combination and two coffin fences.

Our own and Ann Mansbridge GREENLANES NATALIA was a superstar at her first grown up party with us. 2nd in the BE90 Combined Training at Cherwell.

She produced a lovely test in the wind, even with a horse banging in a lorry nearby and scary sandbags around the arena. With lovely comments with 7.5 & 8s for 27 and the best DR in the class.

A super jumping round for just one down when I got abit close. Her technique has changed so much for the better and she’s so much stronger. Taking it slow with her has helped a lot.

A brilliant day out 😁
