We’re delighted to announce that we have officially renewed our affiliation with the Wiltshire FA for another year!

Safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do, and our partnership with Wiltshire FA helps ensure that we continue to follow best practices and provide a safe, supportive environment for everyone involved.

Our affiliation also provides essential insurance cover for all service users, volunteers, and spectators attending our sessions, giving everyone added peace of mind.

In addition, it opens up valuable training and development opportunities for our volunteers, helping them enhance their skills and further improve the experience we provide through our Football Therapy sessions.

We look forward to another year of working together to support our community through the power of football.

Loneliness and Mental Health: The Hidden Connection 🧠

Loneliness is something many people experience, yet it often goes unseen.

When loneliness lasts for a long time, it can affect our mental wellbeing, contributing to feelings of anxiety, low mood, stress, and reduced self-esteem.

This Loneliness Awareness Week, we're encouraging open conversations about loneliness and reminding everyone that reaching out for support is a sign of strength.

You don't have to be alone to feel lonely—and you don't have to face it alone either.

Football therapy isn't always about a football! ⚽

This is one of the activities we use in our sessions: "Head, Shoulders, Knees, Cone."

It's a fun way to challenge cognitive function, improve concentration, reaction times, and decision-making, all while sharing a few laughs.

Sometimes the wins happen away from the ball. 😊

Last night, we were invited to attend A Night With The Dark Poet, an evening of poetry dedicated to raising awareness of mental health.

The event in Andover was filled with powerful performances, courageous individuals sharing their personal stories, and meaningful conversations that highlighted the importance of supporting mental wellbeing.

It was both inspiring and moving to hear such honest reflections and see a community come together to break down stigma and encourage understanding.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to link in with some other amazing charities including The Three Bees Project, ManGang UK, Andover Mind, Team Thrive Support and the incredible Finding Freedom From Abuse 💚
