Today the Cobras were ball boys at the Gateshead FC vs Brackley Town Football Club match in The National League.

The lads had a great time and made more memories with the team that'll last a lifetime.

🆚 Belmont Eagles

Another absolute banger of a game this morning against Belmont.

Week after week the Cobras are putting in absolutely outstanding performances both individually and as a team.

This morning we played some tremendous football. Passing the ball around lovely and working together as one.

Another game where we created an endless amount of chances and were solid at the back.

🏆 Player of the Match today went to our number 3, Max Elliott.

Max is a bit of a throw back and he just absolutely loves defending. He tackles, blocks, fights for every ball and plays out from the back. He was outstanding today.

MATCH REPORT 📝

🆚 Houghton Albion

Back to back games against Houghton Albion this morning and another fantastic performance but the same as last weekend.

We absolutely dominated the first half. Tremendous teamwork, passing and defending. We created lots of chances but again, similar to last week we couldn't find the back of the net.

In the second half we took our foot off the gas a little and allowed them into the game with a couple of chances but good saves from Lewis and tremendous defensive work by Alfie, Max and Olly it stayed 0-0.

We got our foot on the ball and started playing again and the same thing happened with chances, but we weren't clinical and that cost us the game this morning.

🏆 Player of the Match went to our number 2, Riley Fada. Riley continued is excellent performance from last week with great running, effort and what's most important he supports his team mates from the side line.

MATCH REPORT 📝

🆚 Houghton Albion

A brilliant performance this morning for the Cobras, but unfortunately not the result we wanted.

From start to finish we were absolutely electric going forward with chance after chance but massive credit to Houghton's goalkeeper who made save after save and kept them in the game.

In both halves we played some lovely football but just couldn't take our chances, even hitting the crossbar twice in a matter of seconds.

🏆 Player of the Match went to our number 12, Cody Chapman.

Cody was excellent today as he has been all season playing in a holding midfield role. He broke up the play, kept it simple and nearly scored an unbelievable volley but was denied by a fantastic save.

🆚 Belmont Falcons

What a game to end 2025 for the Cobras.

It was absolute end to end for the full game, with no team taking a back step.

Today we were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They all gave 110% as they always do and fight right to the end.

The lads played some lovely football, created numerous chances and defended absolutely brilliantly.

🆚 Silksworth

After no game for the past 3 weekends due to weather, the Cobras were back with a bang with a solid win this morning.

From start to finish the boys were up for it.

We created chance after chance after chance all throughout the game and could have ended the game with double figures but we had to settle for 3 lovely goals.

Electric going forward. 110% effort. Solid at the back. A complete performance.

Alfie has started playing in defence and he's been transformed. Cool, calm, collective.

MATCH REPORT 📝

🆚 Shotton Colts

Back to back games again Shotton Colts this morning after playing them last Saturday.

A much better performance this morning.

We were super strong defensively in the first half with a real grit in midfield and really dangerous in attack but the game was scoreless at half time.

In the second half we went on the attack, pushing players higher up the field and being more direct. However, a few mistakes at the back and a lack of communication cost us conceding a few needless goals.

We fought back with a great corner and two absolutely sublime free kicks. You'll not see two better all weekend.

🏆 Player of the Match went to our number 7, Harley 'Carritheed' Carrick.

MATCH REPORT 📝

🆚 Shotton Colts

Our second loss of this season this morning against a really physical and competitive side in Shotton Colts.

The first half was absolutely 50/50 with Shotton Colts scoring two goals that could have easily been avoided but the lads really dug deep, pushed forward and got their reward with 2 goals ending the first half all square.

The second half started really brightly with a few early chances, but unfortunately we couldn't find a way through. Shotton Colts applied the pressure and with us failing to clear our lines we ended up going behind again, but the lads never gave up and really went for it the last 10 minutes but we could only pull one goal back.

Massive credit to all the lads today. They gave 100% and never stopped.

🏆 Player of the Match went to our number 4, Joshua 'JB' Bailey.
