We are a community focused family cricket club that provides opportunities to people of all ages and abilities from within the local area of South Tyneside. Our highly experienced coaching team provide coaching throughout the year, either at our home ground in South Shields, the Jack Clark Park, or in schools during the winter months. We run 6 junior squads; Mini's (under 7), under 11, under 13, u

A busy evening ahead for the club! 🏏

Our U14s are in action at home as they host Whitburn CC, with the bar open for anyone coming down to support.

Our ladies side make the short trip across to South Shields where they take on Gateshead East.

Meanwhile, our 1st XI are back in the coloured kit as they travel to Washington in the F15 competition.

Results Time! 🏏

On Saturday, our 1st XI made the long trip to Evenwood and came away with a fantastic victory. Player of the Match was Mackenzie Wright, who produced an outstanding unbeaten 131* to lead the way.💯

Our 2nd XI fell short against South Hetton, but there was another brilliant individual performance as Josh Smith claimed back-to-back five-wicket hauls, finishing with superb figures of 5/12 to earn POTM.

Sunday saw our Academy side secure a great win over Seaham Harbour. Aaron Poulton was named Player of the Match after a classy 55, well supported by Josh Smith’s unbeaten 46* and an excellent opening spell from Zac, who picked up 3/33.

Then on Wednesday, our U13s continued the winning run with a victory over Hylton. Caleb retired unbeaten on 32*, while Nancy took an incredible 2/2 from her two overs. Player of the Match, however, went to Harrison, who starred with an unbeaten 30* and then opened the bowling with 2 overs, 2 maidens to cap off a brilliant all-round display.

Our 1st XI make the long journey to Evenwood in a huge clash as 1st takes on 2nd in the league 🏏

Our 2nd XI host South Hetton Cricket Club with the bar open all day, so get yourselves down to support the team 🍻

Then on Sunday our Academy side host Seaham Harbour.

Huge congratulations to two of our u13s who represented the county on Tuesday 👏🏏

Beth represented MCCF South u16s, scoring a quickfire 19 from just 13 balls and kept wicket

Paige represented MCCF North u16s, taking 2 wickets and finishing unbeaten on 22* from 49 balls

A brilliant achievement for both players and everyone at Marsden CC is proud of you both

Last week’s results 👇

On Wednesday our U13s fell short against a strong Gateshead Fell side. Huge congrats to POTM Beth, sponsored by Andrew Marsh, for her unbeaten 30* and retiring for the first time 👏

On Thursday our third team made the long journey to Hunwick and came out victors 💪
Huge congrats to POTM Liam Mann for his 36 and 2/22 👏
Also congratulations to u15s Charlie and Harry who made their senior debuts both bowling brilliantly

On Friday our ladies travelled to Felling and came up short against a strong Sunderland side. Huge congrats to POTM Joanne Dodson for her brilliant 4/18 👏

On Saturday our first team hosted Murton, bowling them out for 50 before chasing it down one wicket down 🔥
POTM Shazhad Ali for his outstanding 4/11 assisted by mark Symington opening spell of 3/15

Also on Saturday our seconds travelled to Belmont and secured a huge 125-run win, bowling the hosts out for just 36 💥
