The girls pick up their first win of the season after an absolute thriller this morning!
We went into half-time 2–1 up, with Georgie Johnson and Annabell getting the 2 goals, before Belmont battled back in the second half.
Georgie got herself on the scoresheet again to make it 3-1 but Belmont battled back and it was 3-3 before the drama went right to the very end… Millie Deeley scoring the WINNER with virtually the last kick of the game! 🤯💎 4–3!
Some fantastic football played today and, more importantly, a brilliant team performance. We introduced four new players into the squad, and every one of them settled in superbly. Lots still to work on, but this was exactly the start this new group needed. ❤️💙

🪨 Emily was absolutely rock solid at the back — composed, strong in her challenges and a fantastic display defensively.
🪄 Millie was like a magician with the ball at her feet! Constantly making things happen with 2 assists and driving the team forward and then producing the big moment with that last-kick winner!
Fantastic effort from every single one of the girls today. The togetherness, work rate and determination were brilliant.
Just the start we needed. A new chapter for the Diamonds. 💎❤️💙
