Happy hump day

This morning all rinks are booked for the first session with a couple available from 11:30. 12:30-2:30 two rinks are free if anyone is after a dinner time roll up. 2:30-6:30 a few rinks are taken but plenty of spaces to a good time for anyone wanting some quiet green time. Today’s last session the mens fours league starts again with a few rinks free for anyone wanting a booking.

We are having a pairs competition on Sat 3rd Oct with 9am and 10am start times. At present we only have 15 entries in total which is not enough to run the comp. If you are interested in playing please let Stew know before the end of week as a decision will need to be made whether we run it or not.

Just a reminder the club competition sheets are up for your entries and the closing date is 19th Sept this coming Saturday.

If you would like an entry into any of the comps but are unable to get into the club you can let us know commenting on this post or contact stew or another member of staff or committee or the club direct and they will be able to add your entry to the sheets.

We will be starting the bonus ball again this coming Saturday, we will leave everyone’s name son who had numbers last year. If you don’t want your number anymore let us know asap please.

A slight difference now as they do 2 draws each week so 2 bonus balls come out so instead of paying one winner £80 it will now be two winners £40 each. If same number comes out then that number wins twice.

We are hosting a Northampton touring team on Saturday 26th Sept, they are bringing 32 players so we are looking for 32 players to have a team against them. We are looking for about 3-4 more players just to make sure we have enough in case of any drop outs or illness closer the time.
They will be arriving at 12pm for sandwiches and a pint or two before starting the game at 2pm, then afterwards they will be having food and drinks before heading back to their hotel.

If you would like to come along and play in the game please add your name to the sheet on the notice board or let a member of staff or committee know and we will add you to the list.

Come on let’s give them a great South Shields welcome and have a fab day of bowling and socialising and making new friends.

Morning all

This morning we have 2 rinks free from 10:30 for a couple of hours. 12:30-2:30 currently there are 3 rinks available. We have a few bookings this afternoon inc first taster sessions, but there is a few rinks available if anyone is after a roll up. The mixed fours league begins again at 6:30 and the rinks will be open after the league if anyone would like a later roll up.

Good morning all, and welcome back.

The new season is upon us and the indoor leagues start again this morning. Please note before playing a league game or any comps you must have paid your membership. Also before playing a league all player registrations must be passed on to the office and paid.

We start at 10:30 with only 1 rink currently available so a busy start to the season. We have 4 rinks free for an hour from 12:30 then at 1:30 all rinks are booked so a busy dinner time. 3:30-6:30 currently only a couple of rinks are booked so plenty of availability for anyone wanting to get some green time in. Final session of the day we have 4 rinks free at present so you can get some green time in.
