Hi everyone, we are all disappointed that it looks as if the club has now folded, unfortunately work commitments stopped James taking it on and Harton & Westoe couldn't find another coach. We have already explained the reasons me, Scott and Darren couldn't keep it going.

I have been in touch with a number of clubs and there is teams out there who want players. I have managed to get the younger boys a couple of training sessions with other teams (under 15's, so this is year 10)

So I want to know from the older boys who has found a team (let me know on here) and who is still looking. If you're looking I will get you into another team and I know it's important a few of you may want to play together. So let me know on here or by my mobile 07981087228 and I will see what I can do.

Thanks and good luck
Jason

Hi everyone, I just wanted to explain about the changes and why we have made them. For some time we have been looking at bringing the team under the umbrella of another club to help with the infrastructure of the team , give us better facilities and to help develop the boys. Harton & Westoe will do exactly that and it's great news for the boys. This year through work Darren was going to struggle to do all the hard work he had done, I needed to take my coaching badges and simply didn't have the time to do this. We needed one of us to have our coaching badges and Scott was the same as me, he didn't have the time. James is an ex player who has had to stop playing through injury and is really motivated to help, he is being supported by Scott Burt who has his UEFA b badge and has managed before, he is also bringing in Johnny as a fitness coach and he is fresh out of the army. So the boys are in good hands and will develop from where we left them. The team will be more competitive and the boys will have to earn their places. James wants to give them all a chance to do this. We would ask you to support James, Scott and Jonny as much as you all supported me, Daren and Scott. They are really keen to work with the boys and will develop them. Thank you for all your support and we will see you next season but not in an official capacity, just there supporting the team ... Good luck to James, Scott, Jonny and the boys

Just wanted to say well done to all the boys for this season.

We gave all the boys a trophy and gave 3 special awards out. One for Kieran for giving 100% effort in every game, his work rate was outstanding in every game. We gave an award for Liam who since joining has been excellent and a real safe pair of hands. Of course we had to give a top goal scorer/best goal and it went to Callum who scored half of our goals and who scored an excellent free kick a few months ago.

Also a huge thank you to all the parents for getting your children there on time and supporting the boys through thick and thin. I think in the entire season we only had one game in the sun, (funny no game today and the sun is shining) we've had a few downpours the odd blizzard but definitely lots of rain!

We are having a break now and will organise some training before the tournament we have agreed to enter. We will be in touch soon.

We would like to say well done to the boys today. You played really well in the first half. A good goal from Callum, put you in the lead and we were unlucky not to take a few other chances that came our way. Their keeper made some good saves.

In the first half you kept your shape well, considering we had two boys playing at fullback that do not normally play there. Your passing on a poor pitch was good. I thought Aaron and Michael in the middle were controlling the game and as I said earlier we kept our shape well when attacking and defending. I can't stress how important it is to keep your shape!

Joe and Kyle had strong games, their coach praised Joe and in the second half they decided to go down the wings as nothing got passed him. I felt Danny and James played well creating a number of chances and both put in some good tackles. Liam made some good saves, did all the basics well and his distribution was excellent.

The game changed in the 2nd half with making changes, chasing the game and we lost our shape. We have to keep concentrating, supporting each other and not let other things on the pitch bother us. We have to give 100%, not let our heads go down. If we all keep trying the chances will come.

Aaron played well in the first half in midfield, tackling and passing also creating some chances, in the 2nd half he moved to right back for us as they had some pace down their left. Again he played really well and nullified their attack. Well done and he got the Man of The Match award today.

See you all on Monday at training.
