Day 5 of the 5 day catching Cod in my youth Challange
Today I will nominate 10 people to post 5 memories over 5 days then nominate at least 3 people at the end to keep this challenge going
Rules - It must be photos from your Youth,
- IT MUST BE COD! 😜

Final story
Age - 18
Location - whitley bay beach
Time of year - November
On this day I remember there was a lovely dying south easterly and with me not long started driving i was making the most of exploring the coastline from a young age on my own.
I took my self up to whiltey bay and had a cracking bag of cod all weighing between 3lb and 5lb being the biggest, at the time it was definitely a new PB bag weight of fish for me!

Day 4 of the 5 day catching Cod in my youth challenge
Tomorrow is the last day then I will be nominating 10 people to take part 😉😜
Age - 16
Location- south shields pier
Time of year - January
Story - Good old south shields pier on a big easterly swell with a nice big lump running into the harbour, I tamed my a new personal best on this day which was 6lb on the dot, not a bad fish to bag for young lenny 🤪
Which said PB has since been smashed to pieces dozens of times since however the memories never leave and that's what its all about! 🎣🎣

You must get at trident for one of these, before anyone asks these wont be stocked in the shop, you'll have to go through trident directly for now 👌👍🎣

Day 3 of the 5 day Catching cod in my youth challenge

Age- 16
Location - roker pier
Time of year - March
Story - On this night in remember there was a lazy swell running and with it being early march the fishing was very hard work but still some nice fish were showing, I remember getting this nice 5lber (think it was 4lb 12oz if memory serves right) on one of my last chucks before leaving, I was made up getting a 5lber from roker pier as at the time when I was 16, this was the biggest one I'd had from roker up to then :)
