every year i select a new sponsor and this year its my junior equestrian Lily Cottrell

despite some set backs with her noble steed, lily has continued to use her time and lessons to improve all round in her skills and successfully passed her bhs stage 2 care.

her dedication and willingness to learn is fantastic and she has well and truly earned her spot as part of my team xx

more clients braving to cold to exercise their horses. well done ladies x

miley and tauri had a session on balance within the transitions, and finished by stretching in trot on a long rein.

sarah is currently using poles to help with moris rehabilitation. using poles helps to strengthen the core lengthen and develop the topline and activate those knees and hocks. even without a rider poles can be beneficial.

isla rode for a short while over the poles but misty kept coming back to walk, so isla dismounted and led misty over them to help lighten mistys load and build her confidence over the raised poles x

i coach a lot of children, including my own, and one of the most valuable lessons i find is being able to have fun and enjoy what your doing.
if you enjoy what your doing your more likely to learn from it. this doesnt mean to say you wont have bad days too, as they will happen, but they make the days like these much more worthwhile x

karen and princess braving the cold for their session x

karen, like us all, had a spell out of the saddle for other commitments so wanted some help getting her motivation back.
getting back into the saddle can be an anxious time for us all, so bringing ourselves back the basics to build our strength and fitness can be a huge help. with my guidance karen and princess have been working on gaining back their confidence and have made a massive improvement in such a short amount of time x
