KSQ Football club Formed in 1991, to foster football within Kirkliston, South Queensferry and the surrounding areas. Children aged 5 years old and up welcome!

KSQ Football Club was formed in 1991 to foster football within Kirkliston, South Queensferry and neighbouring areas. The club is a member of the East of Scotland Soccer Development Association. Our coaches are all volunteers who have been through official SFA training at various levels.

FREE FOOTBALL FROM SEPT TO MARCH 🤯

⚽️ KSQ Community Football Partnership with Heart of Midlothian ⚽️

How would you like to join our free football programme?

We will be running weekly Free football sessions from September to March, starting Wednesday 2nd September. But spaces are limited!!

They will run term-time, therefore not over school holidays.

These sessions are open to children born between 2015 to 2020.

⚽ Expression of Interest – Community Football Development Officer ⚽

KSQ Football Club is exploring the creation of a new Community Football Development Officer role to help us grow and strengthen our football provision across Kirkliston, South Queensferry and the surrounding community.

The structure of the role, including hours, responsibilities and remuneration, has not yet been finalised. At this stage, we are looking to hear from people who may be interested in the opportunity and would like to help us shape the role.

At a high level, the role could include:

• Growing community football opportunities for children, young people and adults
• Developing inclusive programmes, holiday activities and community sessions
• Building partnerships with schools, local organisations and other community groups
• Supporting the development of coaches and volunteers
• Helping to embed the KSQ playing philosophy across the club
• Identifying new opportunities to increase participation and strengthen the club’s community impact

The ultimate aim is to grow KSQ’s presence within the community while creating more opportunities for people to enjoy football in a positive, inclusive and supportive environment.

This is initially an informal expression of interest and does not commit anyone to applying for the role.

⚽ KSQ SUMMER OF FOOTBALL IS HERE! ⚽

The World Cup group stages gave us brilliant football, packed events and a real buzz around the club…

Now Scotland are out, it’s time to look to the future, and maybe help create the next Scotland stars who can take us to the group stage of a major tournament!

This summer, KSQ will be running 2 hours of FREE football every Saturday during the school holidays Starting on Sat 11th July.

📍 Allison Park, Kirkliston

⏰ 10am–12pm
⚽ Street football style, turn up and play
✅ Free of charge

No pressure. No trials. No complicated format. Just football, friends, fun and plenty of touches of the ball.

These sessions are open to children of all ages, and we would especially love to welcome:

⭐ Teenagers
⭐ Girls
⭐ Children who are new to football
⭐ Anyone who just wants to get out, play and enjoy the game

We are also keen to support Walking Football for over 50s, so if you or someone you know would enjoy a slower-paced, fun and social version of the game, come along and get involved.

You do not need to be a KSQ member to attend, this is a community football programme and everyone is welcome.

So bring your boots, bring your energy, bring your pals and let’s make this a proper *Summer of Football*.

Ohh what a night, swapping stickers on a Friday night…

Thank you to everyone who came along to our sticker album and world cup event tonight.

Huge thank you to W&P Stickers & Queensferry Sports & Community Hub SCIO for an amazing evening.

Today is the day!!

Join us at the Queensferry Sports & Community Hub SCIO for the launch of our AMAZING Sticker album created by the fantastic W&P Stickers and the last of our FREE World Cup events.

We will have free food and drinks for all kids and the bar will be open for all adults to purchase drinks.

The event kicks off at around 5pm, with the launch of the sticker album happening around 18:00. From 18:30 we will open the big pitch and EVERYONE is welcome to come and play (Kids & Adults) Just bring your boots and have a kick around.

We will wrap things up around 20:30.
We are keeping a watchful eye on the lovely Scottish summer weather and will update if anything changes!!

No need to sign up, Just Turn up.
