Well, today was our ladies last competition of the season. The Ladies Club Pairs saw lots of superb bowls from all players, but eventual winners were, Cathy Seery and Alison Cairns, after a cracking last end, with the game being decided on a measure. Well done, and commiserations to Chris and Pat, it couldn't have been any closer.

Yesterday saw the revival of the Mixed Triples, which hadn't been played for 10 years. Great afternoon, with the winners being Jockey Wilson, Donna McLean & Cathy Seery. This Saturday 12th September, we are hoping to have an afternoon on the green, the Mixed Triples competition. Our season is coming to end shortly, so let's get together for a game. All members, family and friends welcome. Casual dress code, 1pm for a 1-30 start. Another top quality final on the green today in the county pairs final.

It was a very good game that was decided by an extra end.
