Today we say goodbye to this amazing man. He has been a massive part of this community and has left a lasting impression on all those fortunate enough to meet him. I myself am forever grateful that my children got to learn judo under his supervision. He became not only their Sensei but our friend. Unfortunately I cannot make it myself today 😭 but my thoughts are with Frank and his family and all those with him today.
Fly high sensei you will never be forgotten. Xx

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of our fabulous sensi frank. He has taught so many people the art of judo over the years and was a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Only a week to go before judo restarts next Thursday (19th January) 5.30-7 at South Molton community college old sports hall £3 per child £5 per adult first session free. Everyone welcome (5 years +)

South Molton Judo Club has been established for well over 40 years. Sensei Frank Handscombe is the latest of it’s Sensei’s to have taken over at the helm. With over 50 years of Judo, Kendo and other martial arts experience, he is the ideal person to guide young and old in this traditional fighting form.
