We are sad to say goodbye to Will Hancock from our cadets this year. He is such a fabulous sailor and was top performing SC boat at Nationals this year and made the GBR team at Worlds in Lake Garda this year🌟👏🏻

He will be greatly missed from the SC sailing team and coaches and we wish him lots of success in whatever boat he decides to race in next. Best of luck Will from everyone at SCSC👏🏻🎉🤩👋🏻

Super Well to all our Cadet Sailors for Nationals 2026.

We had a fabulous week of sailing, catching up with friends and generally having fun on and off the Water!!

A Massive well done to Bruce Ward for winning a beautiful trophy for winning the highest place GBR Boat at Worlds - AMAZING🌟🤩👏🏻 what an achievement Bruce- well done!!

The overall winners from our club for Nationals 2026 are……
Silver Fleet
Kyla Brezan & Emily Richardson : won 3rd Place and they are now moving up to Gold Fleet👏🏻👏🏻 Well done girls!!

Also we said goodbye to Will Hancock and sailors from other clubs who have now left cadets - we wish Will all the best of luck as he begins his journey in 420’s. Such a fabulous sailor and hopefully your time at cadets have been memorable.

🏅 Day 5 & 6 at Nationals 🏅

The final two days brought plenty of challenging conditions, with strong winds one minute, very little wind the next, and constantly changing shifts. Despite the tricky conditions, our sailors continued to perform brilliantly!

Day 4 at Nationals 🌬️

Super windy conditions today, but all our sailors rose to the challenge and should be incredibly proud of themselves. The Regatta Fleet were sent in early as the conditions became too choppy in the afternoon.

Massive well done to the following sailors and a special mention to our sailor Ollie Star for doing well in such windy conditions.

As we go into day 4 the wind is forecast to increase and things could change for our sailors. They are all doing so well.
