We are looking for sponsors on upgrades to equipment next season. We are looking at investing in a new set of covers and would appreciate any help. The covers can include business logos and phone numbers. If there are any business owners on here that are interested please contact the club. We’ll push your business as often as we can (match reports, pictures etc.) as well as being seen by teams from all around the area. The covers are up most of the year so will be seen by all the football teams and the 10k run participants and anyone who visits the new bar.

Despite the forecast threatening to ruin our final home game of the season against Old Hymerians we managed to play throught the rain and win by 11 runs. We only had 9 players including Andy Failey making his comeback after around 20 years. Put into bat we managed to score 71 all out. We knew it would be hard work to get the win but the bowlers all did their jobs and backed up by some tight fielding by the whole team we managed to get the win. Thanks to Barrie Cray and Stewart Franks for the hours they have put in preparing wickets so the games can go ahead

Home game tomorrow not a league game but a friendly against Goole Town Cricket Club. Game starts at at 1pm Simmo's Bar open from Noon so why not come down why not come down and enjoy a drink and watch the cricket.

A glorious afternoon at Hilltop for our Holderness Division 3 game in The Yorkshire Premier League North Sponsored By Attis Insurance Ltd against youthful Cottingham Cricket Club 3rd XI. They won the toss and elected to bat and finished on 133-5 after 40 overs. We reached our target of 134 for the loss of 1 wicket in 27 overs. The highlight of the innings was Luke Holmes hitting his maiden half century and finished on 58*.

Next up is Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club in Wilberfoss T20 cup tomorrow (weather permitting) and Beverley Town Cricket Club in Holderness 3 next Saturday both games at home.
