Picked a bad day to have a bad day - one of my worst hyrox performances since I started 18 months ago.
Deep down I knew this was coming.
In a sport that’s progressing at a rate of knots, if you under prepare you’ll get found out. You can’t just battle on and grit your teeth if you want to be near the top.
I can’t help but me mad at myself for not taking the time to sort my injury out earlier in the year and mustering through training for 6 months - I paid for it. But the caveat is I might not have been here 🤷♂️ at all.
The only saving grace is no way can I bow out on that performance, 61st in the world in cat, not how I would let it end.
Time to enjoy Sweden with our friends, family and team.
Then it’s time to let my body heal and come back being able to put my best foot forward.
It’s not over yet - see you in Hong Kong 🫡
