Congratulations to the Avon Vale Mixed team who have made it through to the final of the South Devon Knockout Cup final 👊🏼🎾🫶🏼🙌🏼

Cheered on by Captain Jacqui, the team managed to battle past defending champions Totnes A on their own turf on Monday evening to secure a 5-3 win. Julie & Oli, playing together for the first time did an amazing job picking up 3 points, backed up by Tim & Nikki who picked up 2 more. Avon Vale now face Totnes B or Cary Park in the final. Good luck team 🍀👏🏼😁

On a beautifully sunny and warm Friday afternoon Avon Vale played host to the annual Invitational Tournament! 🌡️😎. 28 players from a variety of local clubs were invited to participate with 7 pairs battling it out in each of two groups playing a total of 36 games throughout the afternoon!

Well done to everyone who played and managed to enjoy the tennis on the unpredictable grass courts 😆 The highest scoring pair from each group went on to contest the final looking to get their hands on the trophy.

Congratulations to Tim & Nikki who won a competitive final 6-2 against Andrew & Barbara 👏🏼🏆

A huge thank you to the event organisers Jacqui & Steve who kept the tournament running so smoothly! Thanks also to Lucy & co for the wonderful catering and everyone who provided food. The spread was fantastic and enjoyed by all! 🥪🍰🍇🍓Thanks to all involved behind the scenes, your efforts and hard work are much appreciated ♥️

Well done to everyone who participated in the Ladies Vets tournament today 👏🏼. It was a great turn out once again this year with 26 ladies battling it out in the sunshine 😎.

The top two scorers from each of the two groups played a fantastic final! Winners Julie Lee & Sam Knapman took a 6-3 victory over Linda Trebillcock and Helen Smith 🏆

Thank you to referee Steve Scott, along with Deirdre and Nell for the amazing catering! 🥪🍰☕🥗

A big thank you to everyone who came along to the Simon Vickers tournament this weekend. 20 players took part in the annual competition in perfect sunny conditions 😁😎.
