Session design was also shared with all players so they had an idea of what they were doing. A couple even came up with some alterations which was great too

Session tonight was based on when to dribble and when to run with the ball. Players focused on getting their head up and also the technical aspect of big or small touches. I worked a little with the younger group on this. Players were required to run with the ball through gates and then dribble through a safe zone which was tighter with no defenders. Defenders had to dribble with the ball too and were given points for tagging attackers. This was done to challenge their dribbling and running with the ball too. Green players were defenders and they had to continuously scan to spot where attackers where whilst dribbling with the ball which worked well ⚽️
