Two of our members have recently come back from the National Championships 🤩

Congratulations to our coach Katie for her 13th place overall in the National Championships 👏🏻

A further congratulations goes to Aaron for his cracking performance and a solid 3rd place overall in the Walk Grassroots Championships 🥳

We are very proud of both of our members and would love to see more representing Essex at the champs next year 👌🏻🤩

The BHAA is now taking provisional expressions of interest for the IHAA World Kid's Championship, which will be held in Indonesia in July 🎯

Competitors must be born between 2008 and 2015, and the competition will consist of 4 tracks:

Kicking the year off strong! Confirmed ground dates for Brook Farm TC 🤩

All sessions run from 7:30pm- 8:30pm

- Jan: 7th & 28th

- Feb: 11th & 25th

- March: 4th & 18th

Mounted session dates will be following in the next week 😁

All ground sessions are open to anyone, including those who would like to have a go at horse archery. A perfect opportunity to learn the technique before bringing horses in 😉

We have had 2 places come available on our upcoming coaches camp with the 1 and only Christoph Némethy of the Némethy Lovasíjász Akadémia/Némethy Horseback Archery Academy in Hungary 🇭🇺

Christoph is a world-class coach, and this will be the second time he's visited the UK.

The National Championship dates and venue has been announced 🤩🤩

Our coach Katie Phillips Horseback Archery will be travelling up as part of her job role as the Events Director is organising the running of Nationals 😊

It’s a great way to come and meet some more like minded people and have a lovely few days away! We’re always looking for volunteers 😉

🎯 2024 BHAA National Championships 🎯

The BHAA are extremely excited to announce that this year's Nationals will be held on the 7th, 8th & 9th of August. Not only that, but we will have a 2 day camp beforehand, taught by Emily Massey of EJM Horseback Archery, BHAA Advanced Coach & Némethy Academy Certified Trainer! 🤩

In keeping with our goal of making HBA accessible to all, we're pleased to announce that the Championships will be held for the first time ever in the North West, at Goosnargh & Longridge Argicultural Show Ground 😁

We're very excited to launch our new BHAA Ground Gradings 🤩

With a huge thank you to John, Nic & Katie for this one, we present the BHAA 110 Challenges! 🤩

These challenges provide an excellent opportunity to improve your consistency in your ground archery, and there are 6 levels to work through 😁

Once you've got 2 qualifying scores for a level, of 110 points or above, you can apply for a grading at that level, and yes, we have lovely shiny badges to go with these too! 🎉
