💧 Why you should stretch before swimming 💧

Jumping straight into the pool might feel fine—but taking a couple of minutes to stretch can improve your swim.

Here’s why it matters:

✅ Better flexibility – Looser shoulders, hips, and ankles = smoother, more efficient strokes
✅ Lower injury risk – Warmed-up muscles are less likely to strain, especially your shoulders
✅ Improved performance – More range of motion means stronger pulls and better endurance
✅ Muscle activation – Dynamic stretches wake your body up so you’re not starting cold
✅ Better technique – Helps with body awareness and coordination in the water

👉 Quick tip: Stick to dynamic stretches before swimming (like arm circles or leg swings), and save deeper stretches for after your session.
A few minutes of prep can make your whole swim feel better 🏊‍♂️
