At Evolution Netball, every session follows a clear learning journey designed to help players develop confidence, understanding, and game awareness.

🏐 Arrival Activity
🏐 Topic of the Week Brief

Then it’s time for our three progressions of learning:

✅ Unopposed Learning – introducing and understanding the skill without pressure.

✅ Semi-Opposed Learning – adding decision-making and controlled competition.

✅ Fully Opposed Learning – applying the skill in realistic game-like situations.

🏐 Match Play

We then finish with match play, giving players the opportunity to put their learning into action and transfer their new skills into a real game environment.

Learning isn’t just about repetition—it’s about understanding when, where, and why to use a skill. That’s why every Evolution Netball session is built around a progressive pathway that develops confident, intelligent, and adaptable players.

🏐 TOPIC OF THE WEEK: PASSING 🏐

This week at Evolution Netball, our players have been developing their passing skills by learning when and how to use different types of passes effectively during a game.

From chest passes and shoulder passes to bounce passes, our athletes have been challenged to improve their decision-making, technique and, most importantly, their passing accuracy under pressure.

Accurate passing is key to maintaining possession, creating attacking opportunities and building confidence across the court. It’s been fantastic to see our players pushing themselves and supporting one another throughout the sessions!

Just a reminder to all of our Evolution players and parents that it is currently half term, meaning there will be no Evolution Netball coaching sessions taking place this week. 🏐

It’s TOURNAMENT WEEK at Evolution Netball! 💙🔥

This week, our players will be putting everything they’ve learnt this term into action through fun, competitive games and matchplay scenarios 🙌
