Hi, everyone and hope you are all well. We have been thinking and looking at the stats with COVID and whether we start classes again soon, we understand many clubs have started up again and restrictions have been lifted, but we have to look at it from a personal point. I have a mother who needs my help at times and has several health issues, I could never forgive myself if I took COVID to her doorstep :[ Di has the lung issue and would suffer badly from catching COVID so we have made the decision not to open again at the moment and will look at it again after Christmas
It's been a very hard decision to make, but two jabs do not stop you from getting ill and more importantly does not stop you from spreading it, numbers are on the increase again and autumn is almost here and I can only see numbers getting worst. I really do hope everyone stays safe and enjoy the freedom but for us, the risks are still to big. We will keep you up-dated

Hi Guys, I know other clubs have opened up and I understand businesses sometimes have to take risks because they need to live and eat but for us we're are finding it really hard to accept it's safe enough to start classes and dances again. Will two jabs save you? NO, you can still get ill and die :[ but more than that you can pass it to someone who could die... we just don't feel comfortable, does anyone really think it won't spread within the dance world when it's spreading so fast outside of it... we want everyone to stay safe so were are still not willing to start yet, we're really really sorry but we have relatives who would be at serious risk if we brought it to them and the basic test kits are totally unreliable, we know this from a family member who just got an all-clear from one but the PCR test came back positive... Don't risk your life on a lateral flow test... hard words but it's hard times... stay safe and we hope to see you soon and let's see what happens over the next few weeks now some clubs have opened.

Hi everyone, Just going to update you on our position regarding classes and dances as I'm aware other clubs have set start dates.
Were doing a risk assessment over the weekend but were not expecting to start again in the near future, the reasons being.
1. The number of new cases is growing at a rate that's not controllable and even if you had 2 jabs this is unlikely to stop you from catching and spreading the virus to people who cannot have the Jab.
2. We would need to clean the venue before every class which is really not possible in the time frame we have
3. The rules are grey when it comes to indoor activities... you can go to a nightclub without a mask if you are crazy enough but the government is advising to wear a mask in enclosed areas with more than 6 or 12 people... just about impossible to police and people will lie about jabs etc leaving the door crew with an impossible task on the door
We will do the risk assessment but I cannot see how we can protect you and your families. We personally don't believe the time is right at this point and will update again next week.

Play safe guys and remember its too late once you catch covid and there's no way of telling who would survive it :[ It's crap, it's hard... but your a long time dead... think twice and enjoy the hot weekend

Hi everyone, we hope you all are staying safe.
Just a short update.
We still are not forecasting a start date, there are still far too many unknowns, we plan to wait and see what the government guidelines will be in June which I expect will not be a far-reaching as expected with the covid numbers on the increase again, and expect there will be some sort of control again come to the autumn. It's a nightmare but we're not willing to risk anyone it has to be safe to contact dance and we have to be happy the venue is taking good precautions. we will update again later in the month of June... stay safe and play safe people are still people catching covid by the 1000s each week.

Hi Guys, Hope everyone is keeping well and safe. We have been asked when are we starting again? as other clubs have set dates for dances... well I personally don't understand any dates being set yet because no one has any idea when full restrictions will be moved. We still have to keep to 2mt distance despite so many NOT, face masks in enclosed areas are still a restriction, and there's still a matter of how you police it... toilets, who cleans up before you start, who has had the jab.. can you stop people entering without proof of jab... there are so many questions that there are no answers to... some people are happy to take risks but it only takes one person infected to spread it through a venue. We are not ready to start giving dates and want to be sure we can keep dancers safe. hopefully, by June we will have more details on rules and how the jab rollout is going, and the new variants... Keep safe as COVID is far from gone
