A long-established, friendly, non-league badminton club that meets 7-9pm most Monday evenings.

*** Unfortunately, due to high demand, we are not currently accepting new members, but contact Mike to be placed on the waiting list. ***

No beginners! Subs are currently £40 per block of 10 weeks.

We meet in the sports hall (4 courts), which is located at the right-hand side of Light Hall School, and has its own car park.

Our new lettings provider. Will share more details as-and-when I have them. We will be back playing as soon as possible; same timeslot.

We are delighted to welcome Light Hall School as our founding school and what a way to start!

We are currently working on a phased returned to lettings, commencing in the upcoming weeks.

Extract from email I received from Light Hall School on 25/08/20...

"Please be assured that it is our intention to reopen for Lettings as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. We will be looking for a new Lettings provider over the summer.

I know you appreciate that our first priority has to be to reopen the school to 1200 students in September in line with government guidelines. That will be no small feat!

At this stage , I would say the earliest we will be in a position to reopen for Lettings will be October half term And may be later than that.

I wish it could be sooner for you, but we have to prioritise on the school initially next term, but we are keen to welcome back our Lettings as soon as we safely can later in the term.

I hope that helps with your planning and that you are able to return to Light Hall later in the autumn term.

Thank you for your understanding as we plan a way forward."

I had an email last Friday telling me that SLS (the firm that handles leasing school halls) has gone into administration. I'm supposed to be hearing from the administrators with further news, and will post an update here as soon as I do.
