Our Family cup Red Ball event took place last Sunday. This event is for players aged 10 & Under who play with an adult family member. We had 6 pairs take part and our winning team on the day was Sophie and Nicola who will go on to play in a follow on event at an LTA Grass Court tournament this summer!

This Sunday 29th October it is our Halloween Parent and Child competition the Monster Smash! Taking place from 4 pm to 6 pm. All ages and abilities will play doubles on a Mini Red / touchtennis size court. Fancy dress is encouraged although must be practical to play! We have a new Cardio Tennis class on Mondays at 7-8 pm. The session is designed to get your pulse racing, while having fun hitting balls! Experienced players can use this class as a warm up for our Social Tennis (8-10 pm) and newer players can use this as a chance to hit more balls following on from our Tennis Xpress class (6-7 pm). Our new Mini Red (8 & Under) team were in action yesterday for the first time this term playing against Wythall Tennis Club in the local league hosted at David Lloyd Solihull Cranmore. Our team played lots of great tennis including some very long rallies using all the shots we've been working on in the coaching sessions.

There were a number of the matches which went to sudden death at 9 points all and could have gone either way, the final result saw Wythall win the fixture with 6 wins to our 4.

All our players enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to more matches!

Designed to get adults playing the game quickly, it is ideal for people who have not played before and those who haven't played recently and are looking for a way to get motivated and play again!
